Submerged Turret Loading (STL) The STL™ system represents the state of the art within offshore loading technology.  The system is well proven and installed at eight fields in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Timor Sea. One system has been installed for LNG and is presently operational at Excelerate Energy's Gulf Gateway terminal in the Gulf of Mexico. It is the world's first offshore receiving LNG terminal and is based on the STL. The STL buoy offers a flexible, safe and cost-effective solution for mooring of vessels applied as shuttle tankers or storage vessels. It was first introduced in 1993.  NAPP's joint venture transshipment facilites in both Atlantic Canada and the Caribbean will facilitate the transfer of cargos to vessels purpose built for STL and other similar systems including Excelerate Energy's Gulf Gateway terminal. LNG Terminals CB&I has been a leader in the design and construction of LNG facilities for half a century. They provide a true EPC solution, performing the work from start to finish and providing a lump-sum price for the project. Their services include conceptual design, detail engineering, material procurement, fabrication, project management, construction, permitting support, commissioning, startup and operator training.
